HBO series Oz. Character Miguel Alvarez question and your thoughts.?
Q. Throughout the shown we seen him as a conflicted character. He tries to be good as best as HE can being in a gang and all. Comes into Oz for criminal mischief and assault with a deadly weapon. Sentence was 2 to 15 years. Has a grandfather and father both incarcerated for life. So therefore, his family life has been pretty much garbage with no real guidance. Season 1, he was not so bad. He was going through the loss of his kid and then participating in the riot(which was probably not such a good idea if he was trying to get paroled in 2 years lol). Season 2, this is where it all goes downhill for him. He pokes out the eyes of a C.O. For him, it was either that or he'd be killed by Luis Guzman's character El Cid. He is thrown into solitary… [cont.]
